WELCOME to MESSES TO MEMORIES

I'm so excited to be starting this new blog. My husband, Scott and I have spent a lot of time together designing it. I'm really lucky he loves learning about html and all that 'design stuff.' It has been a really fun (and exhausting) learning process.

Anyway... I'm so glad you are here and hope that you will join me on this journey as I continue to learn how to make messes into beautiful and exciting memories! You can read a little more about what inspired me to start this blog here. You can also learn a little bit more about me here.

As my first post, I wanted to just highlight the types of posts that you will be seeing so that you will be hooked and want to come back for more!

Favorite Recipes

I love to cook and bake. I especially love to try new recipes and then improve them and make them my own. I will be sharing recipes that have become my favorite... meaning we love to eat them over and over again!

Date Night Ideas

Wouldn't you love to travel the world? Scott and I have been doing Passport Dates once a month since last July. We have been to Italy, Switzerland, Greece, China, India, Ireland and the Caribbean. This is a great way to try new and unique food and become a little more cultured! I'll be sharing some ideas for some easy and exciting Passport Dates that you can put together for your own date night!

Getting together with friends is always fun. We have had some really fun group date nights and I am definitely itching to plan some more! Who doesn't love to party???

We have had some other random fun dates that I will be sharing and I have a couple of ideas for a series of dates that I will be posting soon. These dates will be sure to increase the chemistry in your marriage (that was a hint). I'm really excited about this series.... So if you're looking for some new date night ideas, be sure to follow, like, subscribe, etc. :)

DIY + Kid Crafts and Lessons

I love doing projects with Scott and Lanae... and someday Owen. It is a great way to have some fun, build relationships and teach meaningful lessons.

One of my favorite things to put together for Lanae is sensory bins. I will be sharing some of our favorites soon.

Parenting Tips and Tricks

Learning how to help your children be successful takes a lot of work. I am definitely not claiming to have all the answers. But... I will be sharing some of the little things that help us stay sane and also promote good behavior and happy memories.

That's a wrap! If I kept you engaged this long... Thank you for reading and supporting me! Have a wonderful day and check back soon.
