CUPCAKE WARS DATE NIGHT

I love the Food Network... Probably because I love food! I love the creativity that is involved in a lot of the food competitions. While traveling in San Diego 4 years ago, I first saw Cupcake Wars and it immediately became one of my favorite shows. I hadn't really been a cupcake fan before. Then last summer, I rediscovered Cupcake Wars on Hulu and thought that it would be fun to have a Cupcake Wars group date night challenge!

My husband and I love two things... We love to party and we love to eat sweets. Ice cream is one of our favorite comfort foods! It definitely helps us feel happy and excited about life even after we break (badly bruise) our tailbone... and by we, I mean "I" because Scott didn't fall down the stairs...

SUMMER BUCKET LIST

Family time is so important. We love to have fun staying in playing games, eating sweets, watching movies and being creative, but it is also fun to get out and do something different and unique. Getting out can help strengthen relationships and create some amazing memories. There are so many fun things to do. Sometimes it is hard to find something to do in your area, so I thought I would share our summer bucket list and maybe get the wheels turning for you...

Father's Day is coming up. Anybody feeling the pressure? I think I put too much pressure on myself sometimes. I am usually pretty good at thinking of something special and meaningful to get my husband, but this Father's Day I was overwhelmed by the vast number of projects out there. Then one day, about a week ago, we came home and one of the the kids was playing in Scott's shoes. Scott thought it was super cute and kept asking if I saw what the kids were doing. I guess he didn't realize that the kids play in his shoes all the time.
